Want to learn more about the world around you, explore locations around the globe and work in the travel and tourism sector? Then this is the course for you.
Through this Level 3 qualification you'll complete 18 units over two years, learning more about all of the different sectors within the travel and tourism industry and huge range of careers available in these sectors.
By studying this course, you'll learn about industry in the UK, customer service in travel and tourism and how to prepare for a career in the sector.
You'll also have the option to choose to study units that interest you, such as Travel and Tourism Destinations, Resort Representative Roles and Responsibilities, Investigating Airline Cabin Crew, Storytelling for Tourism, Responsible Tourism and Marketing for Travel and Tourism.
As well as studying the industry in depth, you'll also gain a range transferable skills that can be applied to your future career or in further study.

There are no formal examinations as part of this course. You will be continually assessed as you progress, with each unit delivered on the course being assessed and graded at stages through the academic year.

Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners could progress on to degree-level study in Travel and Tourism, Tour Management, International Tourism Management or Hospitality Management. Students progressing from The Manchester College to our higher education partner UCEN Manchester will receive a cash award through the Achievers Scholarship.

This qualification could lead into a career as a Cruise Ship Representative, Holiday Representative, Tourism Manager, Tourism Officer, Tourist Information Centre Manager, Travel Agent, Travel Agency Manager, Travel Counsellor or Visitor Centre Manager.
