Effect real change in the workplace as you expand your knowledge and take your skills in workplace health and safety to the next level.
Develop a collective approach to health and safety as you learn the skills to involve members in safety issues. You will learn to identify, prevent and control risks to build a safer and healthier workplace and keep up-to-date on health and safety law and information, enabling you to use it more effectively and plan for the future.
You must be a representative of a TUC affiliated trade union, have authorisation from your organisation to attend and will need to have completed the TUC Health and Safety Stage 1 course.
How will I be assessed?
You’ll be monitored and assessed by your tutor throughout the duration of this 10-week course via assignment and classroom/workplace-based activities.
Continuing Your Journey
Completing this course enables you to progress in your role and advance to the TUC Occupational Health and Safety Diploma.Careers page
You’ll also be able to progress onto other TUC/Unionlearn programmes depending on the areas you’d like to focus on.
