This exciting course has been specifically developed in partnership with Tetrosyl and with the motor industry accident repair trade in mind. You'll learn all areas of a modern bodyshop and be taught how to repair a car from start to finish. You'll be working with professional equipment in our state-of-the-art 4,500 square metre automotive facility.

There have been so many advancements in this area in recent years this is the first time we've offered such a
comprehensive course covering all three key areas of accident repair – body, paint and mechanical, electrical and trim (MET).

You'll be learning the latest repair methods and getting to grips with technological innovations, to prepare you for life in a modern garage.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

This course will be assessed through online, multiple choice exams, assignments and practical tasks.

Learners will have the option to progress on to degree-level study with our higher education partner, UCEN Manchester. Students progressing from The Manchester College will receive a cash award through the Achievers Scholarship.

Completion of this course can lead to careers within the automotive industry that include; Panel technician, Paint technician, MET technician.

These careers can offer salaries of £25-35k upwards with bonus and possible promotion to workshop controllers, damage assessors, insurance assessors and management positions.

An additional cost of £20 is required for PPE, which includes boots and overalls.
