Openshaw Campus
(Short Course - 1 day)
If understanding water regulations and water bye-laws is required in your current or prospective job role, then this short, one-day course is what you need.
Prior to the course, a training manual is supplied for students to study and prepare in their own time and at their own pace, which keeps the amount of time spent on the training course to a minimum.
Successful candidates are encouraged to join an approved plumbers/contractors scheme, such as those managed by SNIPEF, APHC, CIPHE, WIAPS, and the regional water utility companies. This enables them to issue a certificate of completion to both the householder and Water Company.
Please note that other industry related qualifications may be required to join these schemes.
Candidates must have prior experience in the plumbing industry or involvement in surveying properties in the building industry sector.
A current C.V. detailing all experiences is essential to gain access on to this course.
The course starts with intensive training in 12 modules, followed by the completion of assessments. There are no practical elements, all training is theoretical.
There are lots of other short courses that the College offer within Construction & Engineering.
Each qualification you achieve will take you closer to your ideal job in the construction and engineering industry, giving you all the skills you need to have a successful career.
The cost of this course is £225.00. If you have any further queries, please contact us on 03333 222 444 or enquiries@tmc.ac.uk.
