Plans for results day 2021

Results will be published on Student Hub with a series of online events planned to help students as they prepare to take their next steps.

Results day at The Manchester College will take place virtually this year, with students being able to obtain their results online via Student Hub.

Students who are receiving results will also have access to a series of webinars and virtual drop-in sessions which will provide them with a range of information to support them as they prepare to take their next steps. Further details on the sessions can be found below.

Results for L3 technical/vocational (e.g. UAL, BTEC, etc) A Levels, and GCSEs will be released on the following dates:

A Level and technical/vocational L3Tuesday 10 August from 8.30am

GCSE and technical/vocational L2 – Thursday 12 August from 8.30am

Students awaiting results for any other qualification will be notified once released by the designated awarding body.

If you are due to receive your results on Tuesday 10 or Thursday 12 August, please ensure you have both your Student Hub and College email account login details to hand.

If you have forgotten either your Student Hub or College email login details or need any help accessing these services, please call 0161 674 3333 between 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

On the day

On the relevant results day, results will be available via Student Hub. On login, all students will see a new tile titled ‘Exam results’. Clicking on these will display your results.

If you have any issues accessing your results or want to speak to a member of the College team about your results please call 03333 222 444.

Results will not be available to collect on campus so please do not attend our sites as College staff will not be in attendance. This is due to the College undergoing a planned programme of enhancement work across its campuses during the summer months while also maintaining some Covid-19 prevention measures on site. The virtual events will enable the College to ensure our priority is the health and safety of all students and staff.

Virtual events and drop-in sessions

This year, students can also sign up to a series of virtual events organised for both Tuesday 10 and Thursday 12 August. Please click the links below each event to register for your chosen date and time.

What to do if you want to appeal your result

As you are aware from previous communication, the introduction of Teacher Assessed Grades was introduced for GCSE, A Level or graded vocational and technical qualifications. Our Centre Policy outlines what evidence and process we have used to determine your grade.  If you are concerned that there has been an error in determining your grade then you can appeal by following the procedure in place in line with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations.

The appeal process has now closed.

If you need any support or wish to discuss your next steps, then please call our Careers and Welfare Team on 03333 222 444
