This qualification will help students develop a good understanding of the construction industry and the plastering sector. You will learn how to work safely in a practical environment, and develop the professional behaviours needed for working as a plasterer.
By incorporating English and maths into your plastering course, you will develop the literacy and numeracy skills that are important for the occupation, such as estimating material requirements and pricing of work. At the end of the course, you will have developed the essential technical and employability skills needed to progress onto a L2 course or into an intermediate apprenticeship.

Grade 2 or above in Maths and English.
This qualification through a series of online tests and practical tasks.
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will possess a variety of skills to enable them to build, repair and maintain the country's housing stock.
Students can use this qualification to progress onto a Level 2 Bricklaying qualification, or an apprenticeship, and work towards becoming skilled in their chosen trade.
