Digital delight for Student Awards 2020
Virtual awards ceremony celebrates student achievement at The Manchester College and UCEN Manchester.
The annual celebration of student achievement took a distinctly digital twist this year after the Student Awards 2020 went virtual.
Learners from The Manchester College and higher education provider UCEN Manchester took part in a series of online awards ceremony which celebrated the amazing achievements of super students.
Due to government restrictions, the annual evening awards ceremony was replaced with 21 digital award ceremonies involving 58 nominees, held over a two week period.
Category finalists joined tutors, Assistant Principals and Head of Departments, who were ceremony hosts on the Microsoft Teams platform and shared the reasons why each student had been nominated before announcing the name of deserving winner.
