Equality and diversity calendar competition raises funds for charity

Students from across the College were invited to send in their photographs to create a calendar that’s being sold to raise money for the charity MIND.

Answering the question ‘What does Equality, Diversity and Inclusion mean to you?’ students sent in their images alongside some really inspirational quotes. The competition was popular giving the judges a challenge to choose the final images for the calendar. The winning entries were chosen by our very own graphic designer, Tom Cunningham.

Commenting on the entries, Tom said: ‘Some of the entries were really inspiring and showed the real passion our students have for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.’

Of the 13 winners, 12 received £50 in vouchers and the overall winner, Abasse Furtado, won an I-Pad Air.

Copies of the calendars are now available at the College’s campus reception desks and cost £1. Proceeds will be donated to the charity, MIND.
