The Manchester College Launches New Online Application Portal

The Manchester College is launching a new online application portal that will improve and simplify the application process for prospective students.

Launching on Monday 13 January 2020, the new portal will simplify the process for applicants wanting to study at The Manchester College. Via an online account they will be able to complete an application, track its progress and subsequently enrol.

Anyone wishing to apply for a place following the launch will be directed seamlessly into the new portal when they click ‘apply’ on a course of their choosing. At this point they will be asked to create an account using an active email address.

Once they have applied, and depending on the requirements of the course, they will receive a conditional offer of a place at the College via the applicant portal. This will be based on them achieving the required grades in school for the level and subject they are interested in studying.

Within the portal, they will then be invited to select a date and time to attend an Application & Parent Information Evening where they will confirm and firm up their offer of a place.

They can also update their details and let the College know if they wish to accept or decline their offer of place within the new applicant portal.

Commenting on the new portal College Principal Lisa O’Loughlin said: “We continue to invest in our systems and procedures to make the process of making an application to the College as simple and as easy as possible.

The new portal will provide prospective students with a one-stop shop throughout their entire application journey, improving the user experience and simplifying the process.
