If you have a natural passion for coding, and want to progress to the next level, then this course is for you. With this Level 3 Certificate, you will be equipped with all the necessary tools and techniques you need for success, engaging in a number of practical activities throughout this course to understand;
- The key stages of software development
- The purpose of coding standards, principles and practices, and coding design processes
- How to write and debug code
- How to resolve bugs using appropriate techniques
- Deployment, configuration management, and version control systems

There is no specific prior knowledge a learner must have for this qualification, however, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved a Level 2 Digital Skills or Information Technology qualification.

Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE in English and maths would be desirable, however applicants can be assessed on an individual basis for past experiences and overseas qualifications.
