You may already have career aspirations and know what you want to do or you still may be unsure of your next steps either way transitioning into college and work is a daunting experience and for some you need extra time to adjust and to become comfortable with your new environment and the challenges ahead.

Your new program is designed to support your transition into The Manchester College. We have very simple ways of working.
It is critical that you attend, without you attending your sessions we can not do any work with you and you will not fully benefit from this opportunity, we don't expect every day to be perfect, so every day is a new day. You will be made to feel welcome and wanted every single day and you will build resilience. This new behaviour will support you in developing yourself and be able to stick at something where before you may have given up a lot sooner.
Consequences for actions.
It is important that we all know the difference between right and wrong. You are moving into an adult environment and deserve to be treated as such. If you try your hardest to attend and give us your best we cannot ask for anything more, on the odd occasion it can be difficult to maintain this, our expectations are that everybody manages themselves within the boundaries outlined in your induction.
