The Level 3 Counselling qualification (Certificate) is designed for those seeking progression to become a qualified professional counsellor or for individuals who wish to acquire greater counselling skills for use in other work areas, e.g., nurses, social workers, teachers, health professionals etc..
Prospective learners should be aware that the course requires a good standard of English Skills and some IT Skills which are to be demonstrated in substantial coursework in the form of E-Portfolios (electronic portfolios). There are also experiential learning and self-awareness exercises, which will be demanding of yourself in interaction with others.
The purpose of this qualification is to provide you with a useful vocational progression route into further study and is not a license to practice.
Level 2 Counselling certificate
L2 English FS / GCSE or GCE
Successful completion of the level 3 application process which includes completion of a piece of work and interview.
