This Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) is aimed at learners 16-19 years old who have completed a level one course in motor vehicle technology.

Be amazing and join the 21st century industry of motor vehicle accident repair and prepare for technological innovation by learning advanced skillsets in vehicle maintenance and repair which are transferable to many industries.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

During the course, your assessment will be made up of both written assessments and practical tasks – you'll spend half of your time in the workshop and half of your time in the classroom.

Upon successful completion of this qualification students can progress onto our Level 3 Light Vehicle Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Students can also use the qualification to progress onto an apprenticeship, and work towards becoming skilled in their chosen career.
