This course provides an ideal taster for learners who may be new to the Health and Social Care sector or new to the world of work. It is accessible to adult learners of all ages who may want to understand more about working in Health and Social Care.

You will be introduced to some basic concepts of caring and preparation for employment in the sector and gain knowledge around the following areas relating to working in adult social care:

• Person-centred approaches

Functional Skills Level 1 in English or equivalent or be able to demonstrate reading / writing skills at Level 1 via assessment. No mandatory work experience required
