Boys in Performing Arts

Join us for a full day of dance and musical theatre, hosted by The Manchester College, which includes a masterclass hosted by industry experts. The aim of this event is to promote boys and male identifying involvement in these areas of the arts.

This fun and energetic event offers boys and male identifying young people in year 7 to 11 at school to try their hand at dance and musical theatre. Whether you've got some experience or you are a complete novice, this is a great chance to experience something really enjoyable and learn new skills.

2:15 - 3:00 PM - Singing for Performers 
3:00 - 3:45 PM - Jazz Dance Technique 
4:00 - 4:30 PM - Final Performance & Parent Showcase

What to bring

Appropriate dance clothing if you have this available, however joggers and a t-shirt will be just as good. Please make sure you're wearing socks and clean trainers or jazz shoes for use in the studio. Whatever you wear, be sure that it's comfortable clothing that you're able to move in!
