Performing Arts Experience Day

Experience a full day of masterclasses with leading industry professionals across Dance, Musical Theatre, and Acting. 

Open to all students who have applied for a Performing Arts course at The Manchester College (all levels and pathways) and Year 10 students interested in joining us in 2026.

Masterclasses include:

• Acting: Jason Patel (Lead Actor in Netflix’s Unicorns)
• Dance: Robyn Brown (Royal Family Dance Crew Member)
• Musical Theatre: May Tether (West End Performer, Heathers)

What to bring:

• Dance & MT: Leotard and tights, or T-shirt and leggings/joggers, jazz shoes, socks, and clean trainers
• Acting: T-shirt, joggers, socks, and clean trainers
• Wear comfortable clothing you can move in

About our masterclass leaders:

Robyn Brown
Robyn Kirah Brown is a celebrated choreographer and dance educator, known for her dynamic teaching style and expertise across commercial, hip-hop, and heels dance. As the first British member of the Royal Family Dance Crew, Robyn brings her international experience to inspire and empower young performers.

May Tether
May Tether is a West End performer best known for her role in Heathers the Musical, including the Amazon Prime stage capture. Her other credits include Dainty June in Gypsy and Jessie in Halls the Musical.

Jason Patel 
Jason Patel is the lead actor in Unicorns, now streaming on Netflix. He was nominated for the BIFA Breakthrough Performance Award and is recognized as one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow 2024.
