Student Ambassadors celebrated at inaugural awards ceremony

Student Ambassadors from across The Manchester College’s five campuses came together at the College’s Openshaw site to celebrate their outstanding contributions and achievements over the course of the 2024/25 academic year.

The event recognised the exceptional dedication, professionalism, and impact that Student Ambassadors have had on college life over the past twelve months.

As part of the celebrations, and following a rigorous judging process, several students were honoured with awards for going above and beyond in their roles.

Each awardee was said to exemplify the core values of the Student Ambassador programme, and their invaluable contributions were showcased to all attendees, including the College’s Enrichment team.

Holly Barraclough, Enrichment Manager at the College, said: "The Student Ambassador Awards ceremony was a fantastic celebration of all the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our Ambassadors this year. “It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise their progress, highlight their impact, and celebrate a truly successful tenure. There were some incredible contributions and picking this year’s award winners was a really difficult challenge, so I’d like to congratulate all our Ambassadors - we’re so proud of everything that you’ve accomplished!"
