How & When to Enrol - HE
If you’re joining us to study a course or diploma at university / degree level, there are a few extra steps you’ll need to take for enrolment.
When the start date is approaching we’ll send you a letter that will give you all the details you need about enrolling with us, including a date and time. You’ll likely be attending the campus where your course is based, but we’ll confirm this in your letter, along with the steps you’ll need to take.
Meeting your conditional offer
You’ll need to make sure you’ve met your conditional offer of a place. If you didn’t get the grades you needed, you may still be able to enrol on your chosen course – just get in touch with the admissions team, and we’ll discuss your options.
Accept our offer
As we use the UCAS system for your university level applications, you’ll need to log into your account and officially accept our offer of a place.
What to bring with you
As well as bringing your enrolment letter and your qualification certificates, you’ll also need to make sure you have either confirmation from Student Finance England that your fees are being paid, or payment for your course (see below).
Paying for your course
If you are paying for your course yourself, you’ll just make a deposit for your course fees at enrolment by debit card, credit card or direct debit. The rest of the amount will be spread across payment installments by direct debit. If you’re still waiting for your student loan, any amount paid will be refunded once you receive confirmation.
Enrolment for international students
The enrolment process for international students depends on the type of course you are studying and your individual circumstances. Ahead of your start date, the international office will send you personal instructions and all the information you need.
