This qualification covers a wide range of topics and skills designed to help students grasp the fundamentals of psychology. Students will develop key research skills and learn different approaches and theories to measure these. They will also learn about the application of psychology for sport and children and look at criminal and forensic psychology.
Applicants will need have at least five GCSE’s at a Grade 4 or above including English and maths.
How will I be assessed?
Assessments for this qualification are a mix of written examinations, supervised assessments, coursework and presentations.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress to higher education in courses including psychology, social work, counselling, education and coaching.Careers page
