Designed for anyone who wants to improve their knowledge and understanding of dyslexia, this Level 3 award in supporting those who are diagnosed with the learning difficulty will equip you with the skills needed to help them in a school or support environment.
You'll learn how to select and adapt your teaching resources to meet the needs of those individuals with dyslexia, as well as taking a person-centred approach to helping those with other specific learning difficulties.
By understanding dyslexia and how it affects those who are diagnosed with it, you'll be able to effectively monitor their progress and adjust learning support strategies to meet their individual needs within the education and care sectors.
To enrol on this course, you'll need to have a good level of written and spoken English.
Throughout the course, you'll be completing a variety of different tasks to test your knowledge, and will work towards producing a finished portfolio of work.
