The Manchester College takes on Student Question Time.

College students join young people from across the region to take place in Question Time event.

Students from across Greater Manchester recently gathered at Bridgewater Hall to ask an expert panel questions about the region’s future.

One the panel was Abdol Shanboor, one of our Industry Excellence Academy for Computing and Digital students, who was joined by experts including our Principal, Rachel Curry, and Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, to answer questions as part of Student Question Time.

In a wide-ranging session, Abdol answered questions about funding for further education, green economy, and student life.

Fellow student Kimberly came prepared with a challenging question of her own, asking the panel how Greater Manchester can develop future skills and create job opportunities in emerging industries.

Check out the video above to take a look at Student Question Time and hear what Abdol had to say about this unique opportunity.

The event is about to hear the student voices, to share your ideas and answers. It’s really exciting. I really wanted to be part of this event as it’s a new experience for me and it might be encouraging for the students to be heard.
