  • Thursday 18 August 2022 – Level 3
  • Thursday 25 August 2022 – Level 2

Your results will be emailed to your college email account on results days in August. The college cannot begin emailing results until 8:00 am and it can take several hours until every student receives their email.

If you have not received your result prior to the dates above please contact us on 03333 222 444.

If you think a mistake has been made, you can ask us to put forward an appeal to the exam board on your behalf.

Although in most cases it will not be possible to appeal on the basis of disagreement with the tutor’s professional judgement for the grades, the college will be able to support you with any concerns you may have regarding your grade.

If you wish to appeal your grade please email ResultsAppeal@tmc.ac.uk no later than 12 noon on Sunday 13 September.

For learners completing this summer, it will not, unfortunately, be possible for you to resubmit assignments for internally assessed units, where results have been calculated. This is because you would have completed the course and been issued with certification.

If you are unhappy with your result(s) and/or appeal outcome in relation to an exam or externally assessed grade, you will be able to sit/resit the exam/external assessment in the next available window (e.g. Autumn 2020 or January/Summer 2021), depending on the Awarding Body’s timetable.

If you wish to resit please let us know via email ResultsAppeal@tmc.ac.uk no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 1 September

Centre assessed grades will be released on Wednesday 19 August.

Your centre assessed grades will be emailed to your college email account once we have received them from the awarding bodies.

Ofqual confirmed on 17 August 2020 that A level results are based on the grades submitted by schools and colleges, known as Centre Assessed Grades (CAG).

It means the grade the college estimated is the grade you would most likely have achieved in your exam - or the grade you received on A level results day - whichever is higher.

We are currently awaiting guidelines on appeals to be announced by Ofqual and the college will need to modify its appeals process based on the new guidelines.

We will update the college website as soon as this information is available. If you wish to appeal your grade please email ResultsAppeal@tmc.ac.uk no later than 12 noon on Sunday 13 September

You will have an opportunity to sit your A level exams in the Autumn series of exams running in October 2020.

If you are unhappy with your result and wish to re-take your exam, the timetable runs from 5 to 23 October.  You must make sure you are available for all the exam sessions you wish to take.

If you wish to resit please let us know via email ResultsAppeal@tmc.ac.uk no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 1 September
