GCSE success opens door to next chapter in Grace’s life
The Manchester College student Grace O’Reilly is looking forward to starting an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery this September after achieving a Grade 6 in GCSE English.
Grace, who has aspirations to travel and open an aesthetics clinic, enrolled at her local campus because she was able to begin her further education journey without having any GCSEs to her name.
In addition to starting a business abroad, the 33-year-old also plans to help young people with eating disorders by founding a charity. Grace said: “All my tutors have been fantastic and I’ve really enjoyed my classes.
The best thing about studying at The Manchester College is that I’ve been able to acquire skills and qualifications that will allow me to move on, secure a better job and create opportunities for the future.
“I would recommend the College to other prospective students because it has allowed me to progress to the next stage of my life.”
