AAT Bookkeeping - February Start

Students studying this qualification will develop skills in the double-entry bookkeeping system and in using associated documents and processes. It is effectively half of the full Level 2 AAT Certificate we also offer, and aimed at those learners who just want to learn the bookkeeping element.

Students will cover transactions for accuracy, make entries in appropriate books and ledgers and calculate sales invoices and credit notes.

No formal qualifications are required however all learners will be initially assessed for the level of English and Maths they are working towards and interviewed to identify past achievements/experiences. Level 1 English and Maths are desirable.

The course consists of two modules for which you need to achieve a pass, merit or distinction in both to ensure you achieve this qualification.
This will be done through online examinations in the classroom.

You could complete the remaining two modules to achieve the full Level 2 AAT certificate or focus on gaining a bookkeeping post in the workplace with your new, bespoke skills.

As an AAT student you will need to pay a registration fee for each level of study. For this Level 2 bookkeeping course, the registration fee of £66 will be paid directly to AAT. If you are eligible, the college tuition and exam costs will be funded.
