This qualification will help students gain an understanding of business fundamentals, including information management, marketing and finance. It will provide them will the skills needed to work in both the business environment and the public sector. Aspects of this course include time management, principles of personal responsibilities, working in a business environment, managing and producing documents, the marketing environment, and understanding finance in a business context.
You will require Level one English and Maths Functional Skills (FS) or above to start the course. Depending on your starting qualifications, you can study Maths and English FS Level 2, or GCSE English and Maths alongside the course.

Assessments for this qualification are made up of coursework and examinations.
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Business. Students can use these qualifications to then progress onto a business related degree, or to start their own business enterprise.Careers page
