This qualification will help students learn the technologies and skills relevant to the current demands of the computing and digital industry. Areas covered by this course include introductory networking, web scripting, cloud computing, graphic design and application development, as well as introducing object orientated programming for the first time.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.
Assessments for this qualification are made up of a variety of portfolios and examinations.
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto a Level 3 Computer Science & Digital Technologies course. Students can also use this qualification to develop a career in the computing, IT and creative sectors.
