If you are looking for a career in the creative and digital sector which is focused on the production of Digital Art & Animation for Film, Video FX and Games then this course will give you the skills you'll need to succeed. The skills covered by the course have been chosen to reflect the demands of working in Digital Art & Animation for Film, Video FX and Games. We've put employment-focused skills at the heart of the course so you can confidently apply for creative and production jobs straight after leaving College.

• Audience Research
• Images manipulation
• Video and sound editing
• Graphic Design for media production and branding
• Digital Illustration
• Digital Concept Art production for film, games and media
• 3D Modelling for film and games production
• Texturing 3D models for Film and Game production
• Film FX production (Green screen, Camera tracking and compositing)
4 x GCSE grades 9-4 including English or Maths or prior achievement at Level 2.
How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed through written reports, blogs and diaries, sketchbooks, portfolio development, image creation, design solutions, audio-visual recordings, one to one feedback and interviews.
There are no formal examinations connected to this course. Students overall grade will come from the final project assessed by tutors and moderated by the exam board at the end of each year.

Successful completion of this Creative Media Production and Technology Extended Diploma Level 3 course in: (Digital Art & Animation for Film, VFX and Games) can lead you to a wide range of higher education courses, foundation degrees and BA degrees.
