This course will prepare learners for the roles and responsibilities
associated with being an Early Years Practitioner so they can
ensure the safeguarding, protection and wellbeing of the babies
and young children that they are looking after.
As part of this qualification learners will gain knowledge and
understanding of various aspects of childcare that they can apply in
the workplace such as preparing children for a school environment,
supporting children with special educational needs or disabilities
and encouraging children's development through purposeful play
and educational activities.
2 days work placement per week
