This Level 2 qualification will give you an understanding of the role of the Early Years Practitioner, along with the knowledge, skills and qualities needed to work successfully within the early years sector.
You'll learn the importance of working collaboratively as part of a team, develop research skills to identify and propose ways to improve environmental sustainability in early years settings, and gain an understanding of how to assess emergency first aid situations and respond appropriately.
4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English or maths.

You will be assessed through a combination of written assignments, presentations and practical assessments, including those completed during your work placement.
Upon successful completion of this Level 2 qualification, you'll be well placed to enter employment as a Level 2 qualified Early Years Practitioner or progress to further study in a related subject.
