This course is an excellent pathway for students who wish to work on their employability skills so that they can progress into a career of their choice. During the programme students will work on identifying strengths and removing barriers preventing students moving into successful employment of further training qualifications.
This diverse programme helps students to plan for personal development, engage in community support, work experience and career planning whilst developing teamwork and presentation skills. Throughout this course students will have the opportunity to participate in a week long residential as well as various activities in the local community.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is based on the development of a portfolio throughout the course.
Continuing Your Journey
Once you’ve completed this Level 1 qualification you’ll be able to use this to access many other Level one or two qualification in a diverse range of areas including construction, hospitality and childcare. Alternatively many students use this qualification to access employment, especially with the links made in the local community.Careers page
