Base 12

Base 12 is a full-time programme for young people with an EHCP for SEMH needs. You'll work towards a Level 1 Certificate in Personal and Social Skills while studying English and Maths and exploring different vocational areas across the college.

You'll take part in practical activities, personal development sessions and tasters in specialist facilities, building skills in communication, confidence, independence and teamwork. With support from a dedicated Learning Coach, you'll develop the life and study skills needed to progress to a Level 1 vocational course or a personalised career pathway.

16-18, 19+ with EHCP

You will be assessed by online assessments and portfolios

Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to progress onto a Level 1 study programme within The Manchester College.
