Would you like to be able to successfully market an idea, product or service? Would you like to develop the skills necessary to be a successful Business Entrepreneur of the future? Look no further!

As businesses evolve with modern, digital strategies, it's important that you learn about the variety of marketing methods available in order to reach out to your target audience.

During this two year course you'll study advanced techniques to gain the skills necessary to market a modern start-up business.

You'll also learn how to professionally manage business events, which can only be successful if you know how to develop your very own marketing strategy!

In doing this you'll study key topics including:

• Modern Careers in Digital Marketing
• Marketing Principles (externally assessed)
• Effective Customer Communications
• The application of Digital Marketing
• The Branding of Products and Services
• The Value of Generating Customer Loyalty

Applicants will require 4 GCSEs at grade 9 to 4 including English or maths or prior achievement at Level 2.
A merit or higher at vocational Level 2 or NVQ Level 2 may be considered as GCSE equivalent. Specific subjects may also require science and/or English or maths at grade 5 or higher, and Creative Arts courses may require evidence of previous work, a portfolio or an audition.

The course is assessed through portfolio building, group work, online assessments, presentations and examinations.
A students overall grade will come from combining all units assessed by tutors and moderated by the exam board at the end of the year.
You will be required to commit to a minimum of 15 days' work placement with an employer and to help you with this you will be allocated a named Employer Co-ordinator who will support you prior to starting and during your placement.

Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to progress on to an apprenticeship, higher apprenticeship or wide range of high education courses, foundation degrees and Batchelor of Arts degrees. You will also have the opportunity to progress into employment in careers such as customer service, digital marketing or events management.
