Overview
If you are wanting to gain a wide understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school or college environments, then this course will be highly suited.
This course covers a wide range of areas including children and young people’s development and supporting children and young people’s positive behaviour and communication.

Entry requirements
This course requires a minimum of a Level 1 Literacy, which can be assess at interview, or have a Level 1 English qualification. .

How will I be assessed?
This course will be assessed through assignments and observations of workplace practice.

Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification, students can progress on to Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
