City Campus Manchester
(Full Time - 2 years)
Overview
As a result of exponential growth in data, and the systems surrounding it, there has never been more demand for data scientists, and more opportunity for those who make it their career. Modern digital businesses have a strong capability to generate information and insights out of data. This is done by data scientists and analysts. They model the data with advanced analytics. Data time series and streams are modelled to predict future events. The possibilities expand further when this data is applied to techniques such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. Incredibly complex calculations or tasks can be carried out in a fraction of the time it would take a human.
These data insights can then be turned into actions for an organisation. Insights are visualised to support business decisions using industry standard software and platforms such as Tableu and Power BI.
