The aim of this qualification is to prepare learners to become early years educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to five years and gain knowledge of children aged five to seven years.

Alongside college attendance a 2 day per week work placement will also be required.

Will need a minimum level 2 English or Level 2 Early Years or relevant experience

Portfolio of Evidence including written assessments and assessor observational evidence of work in a practical placement

Upon achievement of this qualification, it is intended that learners will be able to enter the workforce as early years educators and be Included in staff to child ratios.
