This qualification is ideal for learners who have successfully completed the L2 AAT Certificate qualification and are ready for progression.
Learners will look at the following topics:
Business Awareness
Financial Accounting
Preparing Financial Statements
Management Accounting Techniques
Tax Processes for Businesses
You could enrol on the L3 course directly with a good standard of English and maths, and with appropriate work experience in an appropriate finance-based field.

Upon achieving this qualification there will be the opportunity to progress to level 4. Each learner will be fully assessed by their tutor to ensure they are ready for progression.

No formal qualifications are required to study this course, however all learners will be initially assessed for level of English and maths they are working towards and interviewed to identify past achievements/experiences. Level 2 English and maths are desirable.

You must pass all exams to achieve the full qualification. Your overall result will depend on your performance throughout all modules and will be graded at a pass, merit, or distinction. None of the examinations are synoptic.

Upon achieving this qualification there will be the opportunity to progress to the AAT level 4 course. Each learner will be fully assessed by their tutor to ensure they are ready for progression.

As an AAT student you will need to pay for membership for each level.

You may be eligible for funding for your course and exam fees if you are unemployed, earning under approx £18,500, or if it is your first full level 3 course. (Diploma or 2 /3 A levels equivalent).
