This qualification is ideal for learners who have successfully completed the AAT L3 Advanced Diploma qualification and are looking to enhance their accounting skills. Once this highly reputable qualification has been achieved, the successful learner will be very employable within a professional accountancy firm.

Learners will be initially assessed for level of English and maths they are working towards and interviewed to identify past achievements/experiences. Level 2 English and maths are desirable.
You could also enrol on the L4 course directly with a good standard of English and maths, however, you must have some experience of having worked in a professional accounting environment or studied finance/accounting at degree level.

This qualification comprises three mandatory units and two specialist units selected from the following;
Mandatory units;
• Applied Management Accounting
• Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements
• Internal Accounting Systems and Control.

Optional units;
• Business Tax• Personal Tax
• Audit and Assurance
• Cash and Financial Management
• Credit and Debt Management.

You overall result will depend on your performance throughout all modules and
will be graded at a pass, merit, or distinction.

Upon achieving this qualification there will be the
opportunity to progress to ACCA at level 6. Each learner will be fully assessed
by their tutor to ensure they are ready for progression.
