Course Objectives:

• To familiarise participants with the role and responsibilities of cabin crew members
• To develop essential interpersonal and communication skills necessary for providing exceptional customer service.
• To ensure participants understand safety and emergency procedures, including evacuation protocols and first aid techniques.
• aircraft-specific operations, including door operation, emergency equipment usage and procedures.
• To instil professionalism, cultural awareness, and teamwork among participants.
• To prepare participants for the diverse challenges and scenarios they may encounter during their careers as cabin crew members.

Our cabin crew training course is run by a highly experienced team who are all ex Cabin Crew and provides a comprehensive foundation for individuals aspiring to pursue a career with an Airline. By equipping participants with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence, this course prepares them to excel as cabin crew members, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of passengers while contributing to the overall success of the airline industry.

Learners are required to have Maths and English at Functional Skill at Level 1.

You'll be assessed throughout the whole year-long course using a range of methods, including presentations, written coursework, controlled assignments and role plays, practical demonstrations and observed workshops.

You may also be required to tread water and take part in emergency evacuation drills in line with airline training protocol. A part of the course also involves completing work experience and taking part in extra-curricular activities like volunteering, which can include evenings and weekends.

After completing this course, you may want to broaden your skills and enhance your career opportunities further by progressing onto the Advanced Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism with us here at The Manchester College.

With this qualification, you'll be able to apply for a number of different roles in the travel and tourism industry, with many students going on to work as air cabin crew for a number of different airlines, or as passenger service agents within an airport.
