Course Details

  • This qualification is designed to stimulate interest and encourage the learners’ understanding of the skills and knowledge needed to care for young children.

  • No formal qualifications are required, however, applicants must be able to demonstrate competency in English and pass a short Level 1 English assessment at interview.

  • Assessment for this qualification will be undertaken through a variety of written assignments.

  • On the successful completion of this Level 1 Diploma, students can access Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualifications leading to employment in schools or nurseries.
