Do you have a passion for how electrical systems work? Are you interested in learning more about building and maintaining electrical installations in machines and structures? If so, this Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations is the ideal course to begin your journey.

Throughout this year long course, you'll cover a wide range of areas within electrotechnical technology, as you develop the basic skills and experience you will need to progress onto an apprenticeship programme in this sector.

You'll focus on the principles of electrical science, laying the foundations for your practical skills, and have the opportunity to get hands-on and explore electrical installation technology. You'll also examine health and safety within buildings services engineering."

For direct entry to the Level 2 Electrical Installation diploma pathway, you will be required to undertake and initial assessment (BKSB) at the interview stage.

You will be required to achieve a minimum grade of Level 1 for both English and maths. All offers are conditional and subject to places being available at the time of enrolment in August.

Assesment will be through a mixture of practical task completion to required national standards, assignmment completion and online examinations.

After completing this Level 2 course in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures), you'll have a good, solid understanding of the electrotechnical industry and be well on your way to advancing your skills and knowledge even further.

An ideal next step is to advance onto the Level 3 Diploma with us right here at The Manchester College.
