The 2023 revalidated BTEC Higher National qualifications in Construction Management for England include enhanced work-related curriculum that is designed to address an increasing need for high quality professional and technical education pathways at Levels 4 and 5, equipping students with the right skills and competencies for the workplace, or progression to further higher education study. Pathways have been aligned to IfATE occupational standards
You'll need to attend an interview to determine their suitability and capability.
Mature applicants (aged 21 or over) who are able to demonstrate relevant skills or knowledge gained in employment or vocational activity will be considered and may be invited to interview
Assessments are carried out via assignments that will take on different forms depending on the unit you will be studying.
These will include written reports, essays, research, portfolios and presentations.
This course will provide you a good all-round knowledge of the major subjects involved in Construction Management.
It will provide opportunities to progress into management roles as well as continuing your studies with the option of Higher National Diploma.
All the books required for the course are available from the library. However, you may choose to buy some of the core textbooks for the course and/or a laptop which is highly recommended. Estimated costs for a laptop/desktop are £300.
Materials are provided online and assignments are submitted electronically. However, you might also wish to print other documents.
