At the cutting edge of new developments, just like the digital industry itself, the Cyber Skills for the Digital Age course is a fantastic introduction to the entire sector. If you want to learn both coding and networking in real-life scenarios, from hardware, programming to networks, this is the course for you.

You'll start with a look at The Online World and learn how today's technology systems interact with us on a day-to-day basis. Then, you'll begin to develop your skills creating apps and websites, working with tools, software and coding techniques used in the digital industries, such as Visual Studio, HTML5 and CSS3.

Looking at how different types of apps, websites and networks are developed, as well as how operating systems work across different platforms, you'll be building your own portfolio of skills and work across a wide selection of technologies, setting the path for an exciting future career in the industry.

Min 4 GCSEs grade 4 or above including maths or English.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

Each unit on this course will be assessed in a different way, with tasks that could include role plays, project work, written coursework or presentations. For two of them, you'll need to sit online exams.

This programme will allow you to take any of the digital T Level Pathways. With the demand for computer specialists at an all-time high in the UK, as you continue to develop your skills you'll be opening up a number of fantastic career opportunities in the IT industry, ranging from software and games development to computer maintenance and network administration.
