Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Settings

Our course aims to develop learners' knowledge and awareness of Health, Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings. It is aimed at learners who wish to develop an understanding of the similarities and differences between these settings.

Applications will require three Grade 2 or above achievements in GCSE's. Alternatively, you may have achieved Entry Level 3 in Functional Skills in English and maths or an equivalent ESOL qualification.

All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods which could include: written assignments or tasks such as designing a leaflet or booklet, charts or diagrams or setting up an information board.

Upon completion of this qualification students may be able to progress on to a Level 2 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care
