This qualification will help students develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to advance a career in marketing. This includes understanding what influences buying behaviour and how to target potential customers.
This course consists of one mandatory module and one elective module. The mandatory module, Marketing Principles, will help students gain an understanding of the basics of marketing and its terminology. Learners will then be able to choose from one of two options for the second module: Customer Communications or Digital Essentials.
Applicants do not need any previous experience or knowledge of marketing, however it is essential that they have a GCSE in English at Grade 4 or above.
How will I be assessed?
Assessments for this qualification are made up of a variety of work-related and scenario-based assignments, as well as a 90 minute online test.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto a Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing. Students can also use these qualifications to develop a career as a marketing officer.Careers page
Fees, Finance & Funding
This will cost £650 for the entire course. You will also need to be a studying member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), which costs £50 per year and is payable directly to CIM.Fees, finance and funding page
