This qualification is designed to give students an understanding of the basic elements of Painting and decorating. This includes preparation work, painting and hanging preparatory wallpapers. The course is designed to prepare you to become a full qualified Painter and Decorator.
There are no formal entry requirements, however evidence of previous work or a commitment to study may be required.
How will I be assessed?
This qualification will be assessed by practical pieces of work and end of unit exams.
Continuing Your Journey
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be able to progress onto Level 2 Diploma in Painting and Decorating.Careers page
