Our courses are co-developed and co-delivered with leading employers!

What are T Levels?

T Levels are high-quality technical alternatives to A Levels, designed to give you a head start in your chosen career.

They blend classroom learning with hands-on experience, including a 45-day industry placement (that’s at least 315 hours) where you’ll build the knowledge and practical skills employers are looking for.

We currently offer T Levels in a wide range of subjects, including Animal Care & Management, Business Management & Finance, Construction, Craft & Design, Digital, Education & Early Years, Engineering & Manufacturing, Health & Healthcare Science, and Media, Broadcast & Production.

These areas have been carefully selected to align with the future skills needs across Greater Manchester and the wider North West, so you’ll be gaining the right skills for the right jobs.

T Level FAQs

T Levels last for two years including the industry placement of at 45 days.

T Level grades are worth UCAS points in the same way as A Levels or BTECs. A Distinction* at T Level is worth 168 UCAS points (equivalent to 3 x A* at A Level)

You do not get paid for your industry placement on the T Level course, however you may be eligible for the ‘T Award’ which includes a £300 per year bursary.

After completing a T Level course students can progress directly into work or further study.

One T Level is equivalent to three A Levels.
