Here at The Manchester College, we offer a range of courses, including T Levels which will help you take your next steps to enrolling on a nursing degree. The Manchester College’s nursing courses in Manchester Health (Assisting Adult Nursing) T Level The Health (Assisting Adult Nursing) T Level course is a 2-year programme, equivalent to three A Levels and developed in collaboration with industry experts.

Hands-On Work Experience That Makes a Difference The great thing about an industry placement is that, because of the length of time you spend with the employer (315 hours on a T Level or 105 on a T Level transition), you will: Gain hands-on industry experience Build a professional network Develop your employability skills Learn how your college studies apply in real-world settings.

You’ll have the opportunity to study industry focussed courses like our  T Levels in Digital , which include a 45-day industry placement, or our Level 3 qualifications co-developed with Invasion. If you’d like to progress onto our T Level but don’t currently have the entry requirements then you’ll still be able to do this by first choosing to study our Level 2 T Level Transition programme.

Construction and Engineering

Industry-standard facilities that have been developed specifically for your course, include: Purpose built practical areas for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, joinery, brickwork and plastering A multi-skills area for joint projects On the mezzanine level you will find an electrical testing area, work bays for electrical, carpentry and joinery and break out teaching areas. There is also a dedicated T Level area with two classrooms that can be transformed into a conference space for employer sessions, dedicated workspaces and practical areas for each T Level route.

Industry Placements

The student and employer receive support from an appointed member of college staff before, during and after the placement to ensure everything works well. 6 reasons to host an Industry Placement Industry Placements T Levels: What are they? Further information Industry Placements Industry placements have been introduced by the Department for Education to give 16-19 year old students on technical/vocational courses the chance to put into practice the knowledge and practical skills they have gained from a college course.
