These new facilities are home of our Health and Social Care courses. Industry-standard facilities that have been developed specifically for your course, include: A state-of-the-art mock hospital ward complete with complete with industry-standard hospital beds, screens, chairs, bedside tables, PPE equipment, blood pressure monitors, a nursing station with computer, hand washing facilities, toilet and ceiling hoist.

DofE awards are achieved by completing four requirements: Volunteering - This could involve walking a neighbour’s dog, helping people in need or working for free in a charity shop Physical - You might choose to set yourself weekly running challenges, complete the couch to 5k programme or take part in a series of other fitness sessions Skills - This is a chance to learn sign language , get to grips with current affairs or work on short stories and poetry Expedition - This is the last section you’ll complete and will involve working as part of a group to map local walking routes, track wildlife habits and study different woodland areas.
