The qualification covers a range of basic tasks and underpinning knowledge involved in electrical installation.

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

Throughout this course, you'll complete a range of assignments covering knowledge within the unit. Assignments are set by City and Guild, delivered and marked by the tutor/assessor, and externally verified by City and Guild

With this qualification you can progress onto the following City and Guilds qualifications provided by The Manchester College:
• Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures)
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (Buildings, Structures and the Environment)
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Maintenance)
