If you love baking and want to learn how to produce a delicious bread products, then this is the course for you.
This highly practical six-week course is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike and will provide you with the skills you to produce a wide variety of products such as white loaves, wholemeal breads, rolls, flatbreads, sourdoughs, croissants, Danish pastries and specialist continental breads.
You’ll work with a wide range of ingredients and equipment used within a bakery setting and learn a wide range of techniques required to produce dough.
Whether you’re thinking about setting up a bakery business, you work in a bakery, hotel or restaurant, or you’re an avid enthusiast, this is the perfect course for you to develop your bakery skills and knowledge.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but you should have a passion for baking and the enthusiasm to develop your skills and knowledge.
How will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. You will develop your practical skills throughout the six weeks as you learn the techniques of baking bread products.
Continuing Your Journey
Once you’ve completed this course, you could progress on to our Level 2 Patisserie and Confectionary course or broaden your knowledge further with one of our courses on cupcakes, cake decoration or hobby pastry.Careers page
